My name is Marissa and I’m your friendly neighborhood ink slinger. With great power comes the great urge your kill your darlings.

I’m just kidding… or am I?

I grew up on Disney magic, anime chaos, and crash-bang explosions. I love stories in every form—TV, movies, anime, books, games—you name it. If I have free time, I’m bingeing some wild plot twist or yelling at fictional characters. It’s fine. I’m fine.

My work? 100% influenced by the things I love. I write across genres, but action always weaves through it all.

My completed trilogy The Blood Regent series is a YA / NA Science Fantasy that follows a Princess who is a little more than human. A found family, a couple of wars, and a whole lot of bombs.
