It’s been a long time since I’ve updated the blog! It’s about time! I have been busy though!

The Blood Regent series that started with Born Royal is now completed! It was such a labor of love to create this series. I started the first book as my thesis to my masters degree, now it’s totally done! I learned so much as I worked my way through all three of those books.

Now that I’ve fully finished that series I am now already working through my next series! While The Blood Regent was sci-fi with a fantasy and dystopian feel with some romance blended in, this next series is my true love.

SUPER HEROES… well more super villain related than you’re probably expecting. It’s a fun twist on becoming the strongest. Villa Andrews wants so badly to be good. She wants to save the world. The only problem? Her dad is the number on super villain in the world.

That’s all I’ll tease you with for now, but it’s so fun, and again it wouldn’t be a Marissa Allen Creation if it wasn’t action packed.

It’s a love letter to all things anime. So if you enjoy anime, or even Regendaes by Marissa Meyer or Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard this is going to be right up your alley.

I started it in February and I’m already over 1/3 of the way done with the first book. I already have books 2 and 3 planned so expect the release schedules of these to be much closer together than The Blood Regent.
